Tooth Whitening:

Bleaching teeth to lighten the color of the teeth.

Tooth whitening can have dramatic results and does not require any removal to valuable tooth structure. Whitening can be done at home with an extra strength formula or in our office. In office whitening can achieve impressive results in about an hour.

The KöR® Whitening Deep Bleaching™

Kor whitening is the most effective whitening system in the world today. Kor is available in at-home bleaching only, or a deeper whitening with one or two in-office treatments and at-home whitening.

Kor at-home whitening involves custom whitening trays produced by the Kor laboratory. These trays are specifically designed to trap in the whitening gel and keep out saliva and other contaminates. Kor at-home is designed for patients that require a minimal amount of whitening. Kits also include instructions and a desensitizing solution to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

Kor max and Kor ultra treatments vary by the nature of the stain. This usually involves Kor at-home followed by one or two in-office treatments. The advantage to this is the patient can decide if the at-home treatment met their whitening expectations before deciding to include the in-office treatment.

Cosmetic Bonding:

Composite resin is a tooth colored material that can be used to repair fractured teeth and close gaps between front teeth.

Here at Randol Family Dentistry we can shape the filling material to restore the shape, size and color of a tooth without using a dental laboratory. Composite bonding usually requires very little tooth structure to be removed.

Porcelain Veneers:

Porcelain veneers are extremely thin porcelain facings that are bonded to teeth to improve discrepancies in the size, shape, orientation and color. The dental laboratory sculpts and stains each veneer to create a new, natural and beautiful smile.

Porcelain veneers gives us the ability to drastically improve esthetics with the removal of very little tooth structure. In fact, sometimes veneers can be done with no tooth preparation at all. Porcelain veneers lasts longer and is more versatile than traditional composite bonding.

Implant Crowns:

When a tooth cannot be saved by a root canal or a crown, tooth extraction may be the only option. In these situations, a dental implant may be indicated to replace the missing tooth. An implant is a titanium post that is placed into the bone and mimics the root of a tooth. After the bone has grown into and stabilized the implant, a porcelain crown is placed on the implant.

Implants are a revolutionary treatment with an extremely high success rate. Traditional bridges require the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth to have tooth structure removed to facilitate the placement of the bridge. Implants require no treatment to be performed on the adjacent teeth. Implants are undetectable and function almost exactly like a natural tooth.

Invisalign aligners a breakthrough technology that straightens teeth with a series of clear, virtually invisible, custom-molded aligners. These aligners replace the wires and brackets of the past, making orthodontic care practically unnoticeable to others. And, unlike braces of the past, these clear aligners can be removed while you eat and brush your teeth.

The average course of treatment takes about a year. During that time, you will change to a new set of aligners every two weeks. Each set of aligners gently moves your teeth one step closer to their optimal position until you develop a beautiful, healthy smile.

Unlike traditional braces, few people will even know you’re wearing aligners. That’s because each aligner is nearly invisible. So you can have the confidence you need while looking great at work, at school, and with friends. It’s a new type of orthodontics, helping you look good now to look great in the future!

Clear orthodontic aligners have been proven effective in both clinical research and in dental practices nationwide and can treat:

  • Crowded teeth
  • Gaps in teeth
  • Shifting of teeth after braces

Best of all, aligners help improve your overall health, including:

  • Healthier gums
  • Easier cleanings
  • Improved chewing
  • Reduced risk of abnormal tooth wear
  • Improved speech
  • Greater sense of well-being
